Lawnmower Race Rules and Regulations 2009 |

These rules and regulations are intended to promote safety and sportsmanship among the drivers and spectators.
With those goals in mind the following will be the minimum requirements but a driver is free to increase his/her
safety if he/she is so inclined. |

Must be 14 years of age, if under 18 parental signature required and parent must be present at all times. Long pants,
shoes (no sandals or flip flops), helmet and shirt required. Drivers shall attend mandatory drivers rules and
regulations meeting to be announced by officials. Any failure to cooperate will lead to disqualification. There
shall be no passengers or horseplay anytime during the race event and all classes shall run pump gasoline only
NO EXCEPTIONS. All drivers must be approved to be safe to race by track and/or event officials
(due to public safety). All drivers must maintain control of their lawnmower at all times during the race event or
they may be disqualified. |

Stock class means stock. There shall be absolutely no modifications to lawnmower. Lawnmower must have a
mower deck attached. Mower deck must have either mower deck belt or blades removed prior to racing
due to public safety. |

Shall be same as Lawnmower Stock Class, with the exception of body modifications only.
Absolutely no gear ratio modifications or governor over-rides. |

| Lawnmower Modified Class (max. speed 35 mph) |

All lawnmowers shall retain the original style frame, engine and drive train. NO CENTRIFICAL CLUTCH
ASSEMBLIES. All mowers shall have a tethered kill switch and a spring return throttle. Any modifications
to the speed of the mower shall be by gear ratio only. Any modifications to the frame must incorporate the
original frame. All mowers shall have their blades removed. You may bypass the engines governor. Gasoline
engines only up to 14.5 h.p. or 35 mph top speed (no nitrous oxide). You may modify the air intake an/or
exhaust. All mowers shall be in good working condition. Refueling of the mowers shall only take place in the
designated pit area. Any modifications beyond the above rules must be approved by the race officials. |

| Super Modified Class (36 mph & above) |

All lawnmowers shall retain the original style frame, engine . Gasoline engines only 15 h.p. 36 mph and above
with exception of the use of centrifical clutch assemblies which shall be limited to 10 h.p. No nitrous oxide.

incorporate the original frame. All mowers shall have their blades removed. You may bypass the engines governor.
You may modify the air intake an/or exhaust. All mowers shall be in good working condition. Refueling of the
mowers shall only take place in the designated pit area. Any modifications beyond the above rules must be
approved by the race officials. |

Only one driver per mower.
Participants may be disqualified from the event for
any reason at the discretion of the pit boss. |
